These are one-on-one training sessions to help you coach clients better.  We’ll teach you the skills and techniques that can’t learn in your personal training certification.  For example, we’ll teach you advanced stretches and mobility techniques, how to use kettle bells, TRX trainers, etc.  We’ll help you master Power Lifting, Gymnastics Coaching, and Olympic Lifting.  We’ll teach how to properly cue technique and how to scale complex movements.  We can teach you the FMS or 3DMAPS screening techniques.  We’ll make you a better coach.

    Answered by the admin There is an old saying… you don’t know, what you don’t know. With no formal training (e.g. a certification from at least one company), the chances of you passing our mentorship entrance test are slim. There is a good chance you may not even be offered an interview if your application isn’t as strong as your competitors. If you want guarantee yourself a spot in our mentorship program, this is the course to take (generally 8 hours is sufficient).

    Answered by the admin 1-hour sessions on the topics that you need the most training in. Often this includes topics like: scaling, fault identification, cuing, Olympic lifting, power lifting, Kettle bell and clubbell training, Mobility, stretching, and corrective exercises. If you are planning to apply to work at Sand & Steel, we’ll cover which books you should read, and how to ace our Mentorship Interview.
